    How to use the CFD trade calculator

    Welcome to SimpleFX WebTrader tutorial.

    In this video, we will show you how to use the trade calculator.

    Click on the calculator icon at the top-left corner of the screen.

    Set the parameters for the calculation: currency, leverage, and symbol.

    You can also view the current leverage for your account.

    Below you can observe the details and real-time prices for the symbol.

    Choose the trade size of an order. You can see that the calculations are updated for given values.

    The trade value is the total price of contracts which you buy or sell. Required margin is the amount of money you need to open a position.

    The point value is the minimum price change of the instrument, so-called “tick”.

    Now choose the trade direction: SELL or BUY. Now you can see the SWAP for the calculated position and simulate a trade to see how much will can earn or lose.
